Keynote Speaker
Carmen DeHart is an enthusiastic, confident business owner and entrepreneur, with proven experience as a leader (both non-profit and for profit) and as an executive coach. Her skills and talents are rooted in a passion for high-quality standards, the belief in the power of building relationships, steadfast professional integrity and being present in the moment for the highest potential to unfold.
Currently, Carmen serves as president of HTS Technologies, a 3rd generation family-owned business with a 45-year legacy of serving global aerospace manufacturers. As a life-long entrepreneur, Carmen has garnered a portfolio of skills that span from start-up to acquisition that includes strategy, financial acumen and succession planning.
As Senior Director of Entrepreneurial Education at UMKC Innovation Center, Carmen had the opportunity to lead senior business consultants who assist researchers, business owners and entrepreneurs with technology development to commercialization, business development to growth and scale.
Carmen is an alumnus of the Henry W. Bloch School of Business and Public Administration, University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she received her BS in Business Administration. She also holds a Master of Theology from Holos University.
