This November, ITCGKC is bringing our trade community together for Trades-Giving — an opportunity to connect, share what we do, learn from one another, and discover what's next.

We want to hear from the people who make international trade happen every day. Every member company is invited to be represented. Whether you are a freight forwarder, importer, exporter, banker, attorney, technology provider, manufacturer, government organization, or another part of the international trade ecosystem, your story is part of the bigger picture.

Tell Us Your Trade Story

Each participating company will have approximately 3–5 minutes to introduce themselves and share a little about their journey.

We’ll start with:

“What do you do, and how did you get into this career?”

From there, we’ll explore questions such as:

• What has been one of your favorite projects or experiences?
• What is one lesson that has shaped your career?
• What is something positive you’ve seen or experienced in the past year?
• What do you wish more people understood about what you do?

This isn't a formal presentation — it's a conversation designed to help our community put faces and stories to the companies and careers that make up international trade.

Trades-Giving is also about remembering that while our work may cross borders, we are still part of a local community.

Along with connecting and sharing, we'll incorporate opportunities to give back right here in Kansas City.

More Than a Networking Event

We'll also have a supply-chain technology trade-show component, giving attendees an opportunity to discover tools, companies, and solutions that are shaping the way our industry works.
