  • Additional Tariffs of 25% on certain Steel and 10% on certain Aluminum were just imposed on March 23.  Products of certain countries –Canada, Mexico, EU, South Korea, Australia, Argentina, and Brazil – are temporarily exempted until May 1, 2018, but they could snap back into effect for those countries.
  • The Trump Administration has also announced $50 billion in punitive tariffs on Chinese products.  A list of subject Chinese imports is scheduled to be published in the next 2 weeks.  We will review what is known.
  • We will review the products covered, the Customs entry requirements, and the public process for requesting product exclusions.
